Scheduling Overview

Graine AI provides flexible scheduling options to ensure calls are made at the right time for your audience.

Schedule Configuration

Start and End Times

Start Date/Time
When your campaign begins making calls
End Date/Time
When your campaign stops (even if contacts remain)
All times are converted to your selected timezone

Timezone Selection

Choose the appropriate timezone for your audience: Common Timezones:
  • Asia/Kolkata (UTC+5:30) - India
  • America/New_York (UTC-5:00) - Eastern US
  • America/Los_Angeles (UTC-8:00) - Pacific US
  • Europe/London (UTC+0:00) - UK
  • Europe/Paris (UTC+1:00) - Central Europe
  • Asia/Singapore (UTC+8:00) - Singapore
  • Australia/Sydney (UTC+10:00) - Australia
Always select the timezone of your call recipients, not your location

Working Hours

Define when calls can be made:

From Hour

Start of calling window (24-hour format)
  • Example: 9 for 9:00 AM
  • Example: 14 for 2:00 PM

To Hour

End of calling window (24-hour format)
  • Example: 18 for 6:00 PM
  • Example: 21 for 9:00 PM

Days of Week

Calls are made Monday-Sunday by default. The platform respects your working hours every day.

Retry Scheduling

Max Retry Count

How many times to retry failed or unanswered calls
  • Default: 5 retries
  • Recommended: 3-5 for most use cases
  • Higher counts for critical campaigns

Cooldown Period

Time to wait between retry attempts
  • Default: 45 minutes
  • Minimum: 30 minutes
  • Recommended: 45-60 minutes
Retries only occur during working hours, never outside your defined window

Best Practices

Always set timezone to match your recipients’ location, not yours. Calling at 3 AM is never a good idea!
Recommended windows: - B2B: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM - B2C: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Healthcare: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Avoid: Before 9 AM or after 9 PM
Best days: - B2B: Tuesday-Thursday - B2C: Any weekday, Saturday mornings - Avoid: Mondays (busy), Fridays (distracted), Sunday evenings
For important calls: 5 retries with 45-min cooldown For general outreach: 3 retries with 60-min cooldown For surveys: 2 retries with 90-min cooldown
Check local holidays before scheduling campaigns. Pause campaigns during major holidays.
