Navigate to Knowledge Base

Click “Knowledge Base” in the sidebar

Click Upload Documents

Start the upload process

Choose Collection

Create new collection or use existing one

Upload Files

Drag and drop PDFs or browse to select files

Wait for Processing

Documents are automatically extracted and indexed

Collection Naming

Use descriptive names:
  • product-docs
  • customer-support
  • faq-database
  • policy-documents
Use lowercase with hyphens for consistency.

File Requirements

  • Formats: PDF, TXT, DOCX, CSV
  • Size: Up to 100MB per file
  • Quality: Clear, well-formatted documents work best
  • Multiple Files: Upload multiple documents at once

Best Practices

Create separate collections for different product lines or topics
Name files descriptively for easy identification
Split very large PDFs into smaller, focused documents
Regularly update documents to ensure current information
